About Me
While my relationship with writing has changed over the years, sometimes, sitting in the backyard, I call myself an author. I majored in English & Creative Writing at Middlebury College with all intentions of becoming a published novelist by age thirty. I'm now in software product management with a Master's in Computer Information Systems. So yeah, life gets a little wild sometimes.
Brass tacks: my work has appeared in over one hundred publications in the last decade. I had a piece in 2015 selected for Wigleaf's Top 50 Best Very Short Fictions by Roxanne Gay. I've published three picture books which were acquired by HMH from ebook brand Meegenius before they went out of print. I've been a finalist for the Boston Children's Library Writer in Residence, a two-time Pushcart Prize nominee, BSF nominee, and a BOTN nominee. I've been represented in the past by The Jenks Agency. And, I've got a long way still to go.
